This is a listing of some of the projects that I have been involved in.

Missouri S&T UAV Team

I led the Missouri S&T UAV Team to a 2nd place finish at the 2008 UAV Challenge Outback Rescue.  I was the team leader from February 2007 to September 2008.  I was responsible for leading a team of 4 engineering students to design and build a UAV to compete in the 2008 UAV Challenge Outback Rescue.  Along with performing the systems level design of the UAV, I also designed the UAV’s microcontroller based power distribution system, and was responsible for integrating the autopilot and control system into our UAV.

Missouri S&T Formula SAE Team

I was 2008-2009 Missouri S&T Formula SAE Team electrical group leader.  I was responsible for the design of the car’s microcontroller (AVR ATmega) based electrical system.  The electrical system utilized a 2.4GHz wireless mesh network to communicate between the modules on the car and also for transmitting telemetry to the pit.  The 2009 Car placed 1st in the Formula SAE VIR competition, 6th at Formula SAE Michigan, and 14th at Formula SAE West.

Missouri S&T FSAE - Dashboard PCB Back

On the Formula SAE Team I also assisted with testing and data acquisition.  I was responsible for the electronics and LabVIEW programming for a tire loading test setup which can be seen here on National Instruments’ site.
